PR Portfolio: Clarifying complex management messages


An article is an ideal medium for putting across complex concepts. So it was the obvious method we used to explain what the options were for managers considering whether to buy or rent test equipment.

Given that Livinston is able to rent or lease equipment as well as sell new or second user instruments the company was in a good position as far as magagzine editors were compared to present an article outlining the pros and cons of each alternative.

The article illustrated the key differences between the different options the benefits and drawbacks of using the alternative strategies to acquire different types of test equipment for a variety of applications.

A couple of tables and charts also helped to stress the major decision points.

The article was so successful that the company reprinted the published articles to use as exhibition give-aways and sales support leaflets for its sales teams.
