Direct Mail: Simple sales letters target health professionals

One of the keys to the success of RTFB Publishing has been a regular direct mail campaign that targets health professionals such as GPs, nurses and practice managers.

Every three months, RTFB distributes a newsletter to its 3,000-strong database that focuses on the latest research findings and product developments that have involved the What should I do? series of booklets.

The campaign involved not only writing the newsletter but also the accompanying sales letters that carefully highlighted key selling points and always featured a PS sign off that encouraged enquiries. The mailings regularly resulted in volume orders of booklets and the PS method rarely failed to pay dividends.
